Miles Ringsred, Esq
Born and Montessori educated in Duluth, MN, Mr. Ringsred is a speed skater and professional actor with a BFA from the University of Calgary. He earned a law degree from Lewis & Clark College’s School of Law in Portland, Oregon. He is passionate about developing Renaissance Schools and making the world better through providing educational child care. His unique background has made him a jack-of-all-trades, and he will use his adaptiveness to meet any challenge.
Born and Montessori educated in Duluth, MN, with a BA from the University of Montana-Missoula. Marc has a special interest in archaeology, especially the American West and Middle East, and human/cultural development. He has an MA from Tel Aviv University. Marc is a passionate student and advocate for human development. He intends to make Renaissance Schools a success by tirelessly advocating for community development in each new Renaissance School.
Born and Montessori educated in Duluth, MN. Anna is an accomplished Olympic Speedskater. She is currently a Chemical Engineer working in the Ministry of Energy for the Province of British Columbia to develop the world's leading carbon emission standards. She is a passionate supporter of health and fitness education, as well as women's math and science education.
Angie has a teaching degree in Early Childhood Education, AMI Montessori training in infant and toddler education, and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education. She has over 20 years’ experience teaching and managing programs in Washington state. Angie is an Instructor and field consultant for The Montessori Education Institute of the Pacific Northwest and a STARS trainer for the Department of Children, Youth and Families.
James has an MA Education with a concentration in Educational Administration. James was the Secondary Program Director for Woodinville Montessori School, where he helped develop a Montessori middle and high school program. He was the Center Director for KinderCare in Bellingham, WA, and is a co-founder of Pioneer Meadows Montessori school.
Larry & Pat Schafer
Residing in St. Paul, MN, Larry and Pat are the founders of Minnesota's first Montessori School: Lake Country Montessori. Lake Country began in their home in 1985 and now occupies its own campus in Minneapolis with around 300 students. Larry and Pat are passionate about Montessori philosophy and building family and community. They hope to continue developing Montessori in Minnesota with grace and passion, by helping Renaissance Schools in its development.
