Position Open

We are currently seeking experienced candidates to assist in a Montessori environment starting this Fall! Strong candidates will have worked previously in a Montessori environment, but it is not required. Our ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of early childhood development. Additional qualities include someone who is positive, patient and who feels confident modeling peaceful conflict resolution and social-emotional regulation for children ages 3-6.

We are pleased to offer on-going career development, including support for the completion of an associate’s or a bachelor’s degree, Montessori training, Parent Aware Teacher’s Credential, Circle of Security training, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Starting Pay: from $15.00 – $18.00 per hour, DOE.

Cultural

Cultural Activities are a specific extension of the language curriculum where children begin to acquire a sense of historical fact, classification of physical geography and an appreciation of cultural differences.

Practical Life

Practical Life is the study of self-help skills and focuses on the four major areas, Care of Self, Care of Environment, Grace and Courtesy, and Movement.

Sensorial

Sensorial uses a multi-sensory approach to education. Children are encouraged to learn by processing information gathered through the senses.

Math

Math continues the cognitive math development that began in the Practical Life Skills and Sensorial curriculum, taking an acute focus and more abstract thinking process with concrete materials.
